Step into a comic book and fight alongside some of your favorite superheroes including Spiderman, the X-Men, the Hulk and more! This island is one of the most thrilling at Islands of Adventure, and is home to four thrill attractions including the Incredible Hulk roller coaster and the Amazing Adventures of Spider-man. Marvel Super Hero Island’s architecture and theming is straight out of a Marvel comic book, with a comic book color scheme, amplified angles, and cutouts of many of the most popular Marvel characters. Guests can also meet Spiderman, members of the X-men and other super heroes throughout the day.

The buildings in Marvel Super Hero Island were painted with a special paint called Chrom-Illusion, which contains three sided crystals and produces different colors depending on the angle viewed and position of light on the object. Meaning, Marvel Super Hero Island literally changes color throughout the day!
