The four different sections at Beach Break Cafe (the deli, pizza, burger, and rotisserie stations) serve up rather standard – but inexpensive – fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But perhaps more noteworthy is the venue’s culinary influences: its offerings are surfer-inspired (as the name might suggest), feature Southern California flavors and fresh ingredients, incorporate culinary options from around the world, consist of unique cuisine and comfort food both, and take a nod from food trucks, local joints, and backyard barbecue (phew!).

In an attempt to make Beach Break Cafe as “cool and exciting” as possible, Universal inserted surfers that are attempting to ride the next big wave above you while you wait in line. It’s a fun little touch.
